# Voting for account recovery

Share the URL with each of your recovery email contacts separately.

Your recovery contacts will need to open the link and enter your email address on the page.

Once your contacts enter your email and click "Validate," they'll be taken to a voting page.

To start the transaction, your contacts will need to click the "Vote" button. After clicking, they'll see a summary of the transaction.&#x20;

To confirm the transaction, your contacts will need to click the "Confirm" button and use their passkey to sign the transaction.

The vote will be cast once the transaction is finalized on the Arbitrum mainnet.
