0xequity uses passkeys for account creation instead of traditional web3 wallets, making it easier for non-technical users to understand. We’ve included a dedicated section to explain our wallet creation solution. Learn more.

To create an account, navigate to the 0xequity platform's homepage and click the "Launch App" button.

  • Launch App: Launch 0xequity app.

Users will be directed to a page where they can perform various operations, but first, they need to create an account. To do so, click the "Connect" button.

  1. Connect Wallet: Connect to your preferred wallet to interact with 0xequity.

Users will have the option to create a wallet using either their Apple ID or Google account. In this tutorial, we'll be using a Google account. After selecting the Google account, users will be prompted to register their account by first choosing the wallet type

0xequity currently supports two types of wallets.

  1. Web3 Wallet: This includes traditional Web3 wallets like MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and others.

  2. Passkeys + Web3 Wallet: We will be introducing another option in the future that will be the combination of both Passkey and Web3 Wallet.

In this guide we are choosing Passkeys, Upon clicking on the "Register "a request popup will appear, allowing users to choose their preferred device for setting up the Passkey. In this tutorial, we'll be using the connected Infinix Note.

  1. Register: Initiate the process of setting up passkeys

  2. Windows Hello or external security key: Use any external security key to create an account

  3. Infinix NOTE: Connected device with platform (User can connect any device)

  4. Use a different phone, tablet, or security key: Scan the QR code to use any other device

A notification will be sent to the connected device, allowing users to choose their passkey method, which can be a pattern, PIN, or even fingerprint.

And that's it! By following this straightforward process, users can create their accounts and access the various operations available on the 0xequity platform.

  1. Start KYC Verification: Initiate verification.

  2. Not Verified: Shows that the specific account address is not verified

In the next tutorial, we will walk through the process of verifying identity on the 0xequity platform.
