Add Recovery Emails

0xequity offers social recovery, allowing users to designate 3 "recovery emails" from trusted individuals like friends or family. If a user's wallet is lost, they can start the recovery process, which requires at least 2 out of the 3 recovery emails to approve the account recovery for it to succeed. In this guide, we'll see how we can add recovery emails.

First, navigate to the wallet section where we have to choose the profile section.

In the profile section, you'll find the social recovery option. Click on it to add your recovery emails.

Here you can add 3 emails of trusted persons.

After adding emails you have click on the "Update" button to process the transaction through passkeys. It will send the notification to your device which you have to sign to complete the transaction

Once the user signs the transaction the recovery email will be added
